[Competitions] Further to your review the CL owners have been in touch to advise that the grass is kept short but due to the wet weather they were unable to cut it as the tractor kept blocking. Choose the 'Multiple units per pitch' filter in the search results. Nice dog friendly pub in the village and a good bus service to York . It is a minor inconvenience which is significantly outweighed by the friendliness of the owners, and the general quality of the site.
No information has been provided by the owner. 
Our toilet and shower facilities will be open. There is a minor road adjacent to the site, and our visit was at the time that the silage harvest on local farms was in full swing which resulted in the occasional tractor/trailer trundling past the site, but don't be put off by this in any way. This site does not currently take bookings here on Pitchup.com. There are many local pubs serving local ales and home cooked food. Paul and Donna were so welcoming and helpful and are clearly very proud of their site and take care maintaining it. The farm is well signposted and lies about 4 miles from the M6.

WebFollow the stone covered paths around the barnyards and pastures and learn about each breed, or come on a weekend and find the farm interpreter for a free tour at 1:00pm every Saturday and Sunday. Simply. We offer a one acre site with large grass pitches, some slope slightly and all have beautiful scenic views of Devon's unspoilt countryside. Im just offering my humble opinion that it could be perfection here! The ground does slope but this was easily resolved with the use of our levelling ramps. The views are really lovely. No information has been provided by the owner. There are lots of good spots for paddlingand even (if you can brave the icy water) wild swimming inthe River Rawthey around Sedbergh, with at, pebbled areasoffering easy access to the water.
On-site we also have everything you need including: The Lakeside Rooms offer 34 single and 20 twin hotel-style rooms in the Lakeside Building.

Wander around the remains of Dunsland House which was lost in a fire in the 1960's with the grounds being a haven for wildlife and stunning displays of primroses and bluebells in the spring. Very peaceful site with a real sense of being in the countryside, a great getaway.
